Natasha Denona Sunrise Palette is so beautiful with both earthy warm tones and bright pink-berry tones. It is one of my favourite palettes in my collection which can be used for colourful looks as well as for doing something more neutral or everyday friendly.

I recently reviewed the Natasha Denona Love Palette which was the second edition in the medium sized palettes launched by her. The Sunrise palette launched first and I grabbed it pretty quickly. I think it’s a permanent palette and it’s still available on a lot of websites. Natasha Denona is available in Sephora Singapore and I also order from CultBeauty and Beautylish because sometimes we might get a better price there.

The palette is priced same as the Love palette at $65 with the packaging and other details same as that palette. So, I am not going in too much detail there. This palette also has 15 shades in different finishes.

ND Sunrise

Inspired by the warm glow of a morning sunrise, this impeccable palette contains Shades of warm sunny yellows, crimson corals, earthy browns and powerful pinks and fuchsias, all made to melt together in perfect harmony.

SWATCHES

Taking a closer look at the first group of shadows.

Unlike the Natasha Denona Love Palette, there are no creamy matte shades in this palette. The shadow textures are matte, metallic and duo-chromatic.

The shades poppy and phlox are metallic shadows with a high shine smooth finish. Both the shades may look a bit similar to each other but they aren’t; one is more red and the other one has more magenta tones.

Citrine and glory are beautiful matte shades with great pigmentation and blend ability. The yellow pops very well on my tan skin tone as well.

The shades awakening, laurel and aster are metallic shades again but with a slight duo chromatic finish. All of them are really stunning shades which look very pretty on the eyes. They also have very fine shimmer infused in them. The light blue / silver shimmers in the shade aster are more pronounced.

Moving on to the next set of shades. The shades azalea and day spring are metallic shadows with a slight duo-chromatic finish. Only the shade azalea is not as smooth as the other shades with similar texture. You have to work at it to make it look smooth on the eyelids. The glitters are also very pronounced in this shade and may look patchy if not blended properly. A setting spray makes it easier to apply this shade. The other shade day spring is perfect, very smooth and one of my favourite shades in the palette.

The rest of the shades are mostly matte – morgan, clove, carnelian, jasper, morning. I didn’t have any issues with any of the matte shades. They have a beautiful soft texture, very pigmented and blend effortlessly. I love these shades for everyday looks.

The shade agate is an extremely smooth metallic finish shadow. This also has slight shimmer infused in it and looks very pretty on the eyes.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I am in love with this palette. It will work on a lot of skin tones and it’s very easy to create looks with this palette. I haven’t created a single look with this palette that I didn’t like. We can create glam looks as well as subtle every looks very easily. All the colors work very well with each other, specially the matte shades blend beautifully together. However, for more depth in tones we will need to incorporate other deeper shadows.

The staying power of the shadows is very good. The looks have lasted well over 6 hours on my eyes without much fading.

The matte shades don’t have a ton of fall out and are very easy to work with. There may be a bit of fallout with some of the shimmer shades if worked with a brush. However, I didn’t notice any glitter fallout throughout the wear of the eye look.

Overall, I think the quality of the palette is very good and I will definitely recommend it if you are interested in the colour story.

LOOKS

Here is one of the many looks I have created with this palette. It’s also possible to create subtle purple looks with this palette which I love. I will try to post one soon as I don’t have a picture of that kind of look currently.

That’s all for this post. Hope this helps. If you have any questions or further thoughts then the comment section is open. ๐Ÿ™‚
