The Girlactik Matte Lip Paints are one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas and I had also featured them in my Top 10 liquid lipsticks video on YouTube. Read on to see swatches of the shades I have and read a quick review.

What are these? The Girlactik Matte Lip Paints are liquid lipsticks which claim to be matte, smooth, pigmented and long-wearing.

Where did I buy these? I bought some of them locally here in Singapore from Comamakeup and Qolourette, and rest are bought from the US official website. I shipped them to my sister’s address in US and she got them for me. So, I didn’t pay for any shipping.

How much do they cost? In Singapore, they retail for SGD 34, pretty much with all the resellers. In US, the full size liquid lipstick retails for USD 23 or SGD 30.8 (approx.), so we are not paying a whole lot more for these lipsticks here in Singapore.

How much product we get? We get 7.5 ml of product in each tube, which is quite a lot of product. Although, we do have to keep in mind the product has an expiry of only 6 months after opening. I have had some for 1.5 years or so and the formula is definitely not the same as before anymore.

How is the packaging? The packaging of these lipsticks can be described in one word – Pretty. There is lace detail print running through the box as well as the rim of the tube, which makes them look really beautiful and delicate.

However, It is interesting that some tubes are missing the lace print even though I have ordered from their official website. So, I guess not all tubes have the lace detailing. 🙂 The gun metallic cap also complements the tube nicely. The tubes are clear acrylic tubes, hence its easier to see the colours which is always preferable.

Here is the ingredient list of these lipsticks. *Carmine only in the color Blossom.

How was my experience? In short, I love these liquid lipsticks. As claimed, they are completely matte lipsticks yet they feel really comfortable on the lips. Once applied, they dry down completely matte in 45 seconds or so and do not transfer. The texture of the liquid lipsticks is very lightweight and they apply very smoothly and even after drying down they feel very smooth on the lips. I love the texture.

The lipsticks are really nicely pigmented and one swipe is enough for full opacity. The lipsticks do not dry down immediately, so its easier to correct any mistakes.

The formula is pretty long wearing. The lipsticks can last through light meals and may only cause some fading. They last very comfortably on me for 4-5 hours. After the 5 hours mark, they tend to start feeling a bit dry but nothing too uncomfortable. I haven’t experienced any kind of flaking with any of the shades either.

The applicator of these lipsticks is really good. Its a doe-foot applicator but has a pointed end which helps to line the lips precisely. Also, the applicator collects the right amount of product for easy application at one go.

Now, the most important part – the swatches. I have 9 shades – 6 full size and 3 minis in a set. I bought the set from the US website for USD 23.

Here’s how they look on the lips.

So, that’s all for my review and swatch of these liquid lipsticks. If you are a lover of matte liquid lipsticks, then I would highly recommend the Girlactik Matte Lip Paints.

I have also done a detailed video on these liquid lipsticks on my channel. If you want to see more, then you can check out the video, I will link it below.

That’s all for this post. I hope it was helpful.

Cheers!
