If you have been following my YouTube channel, then you probably know that the Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick formula is one of my favourite liquid lipstick formulas. I have a few shades of them and in this post I will post a quick review and swatches of all the shades.
I really like the packaging of these lipsticks. They are standard acrylic tubes and feel very sleek and I also like the gun-metallic cap of the lipsticks. Although, the cap colour and type varies between the shades depending on where I got it from. I understand some are sample sizes, that is the reason why the packaging is not consistent.
The applicator is a slim, stiff doe-foot applicator which has a slanted point to it which makes the application really easy.
OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick is a one step full lip color that does not feather. These vibrant colors will give you a vivacious new look. They are creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect. No need to use lipliner, this liquid lipstick gives a beautiful edge to your lip look!
Here is the ingredient list. It is also mentioned that the lipsticks are enriched with anti-oxidants and Vitamin E.
These lipsticks retails for USD 20 but I think there are a lot of discount codes floating around, so you can get these at a much better price.
I have had great experience with these lipsticks so far. I have found some beautiful shades which have quickly become my favourite go-to lipsticks. These lipsticks have a unique formula where they appear quite matte on the lips but they do not dry down completely. Since, they do not dry down completely, the lipstick feels very comfortable throughout the wear. They are very long wearing as well and can last comfortably for 5-6 hours on the lips. Even after eating or drinking, there is minimum fading and the formula is quite easy to touch up. These lipsticks do transfer, so that is something to keep in mind. The pigmentation of all the shades I have is amazing and it usually doesn’t require more than one layer for a beautiful application. The lighter shades may require some building up otherwise they end up looking patchy on the lips. The lipstick also doesn’t slip or slide on the lips, which I highly appreciate.
I usually try to weigh in pros and cons for all the products I review but for this one I can’t really think of a major negative or a flaw. If you do not mind a little bit of transfer, you are going to love these lipsticks as they are extremely comfortable. There are a lot of shades and some of the lighter shades may look patchy on tan or deep skin tone but that is true for all kind of lipsticks.
Here are the swatches of all the shades I own.
The shades Santa Ana, Havana Nights and Manhattan are my favourites. I would love to get some more shade suggestions. Do let me know if you have other shades and how they are working out for you.
That’s all for this post. Hope this helps.
I had posted a video on these lipsticks last year. Linking it here.
