Today, I want to do a quick review for the Shower Gel which I am using currently, and really loving. This is The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel.
CLAIMS
Awaken your skin with the irresistibly dewy scent of roses. The cleansing Shower Gel is infused with the essence of hand-picked roses from Britain to make showering feel blooming beautiful.
β’ Soap-free cleanser
β’ Rose scented
β’ Lather rich
β’ With the essence of hand-picked British roses
PACKAGING
The packaging is pretty much standard shower gel plastic bottle packaging. There is nothing extra ordinary to write about, it’s good. The baby pink bottle does look very cute and attractive.
PRICE
In Singapore, it is priced at SGD 14.90 for 250 ml of product. There are promotions running frequently, so I am sure you can get this at much cheaper.
RESULTS
I am in love with this shower gel. It has a very soothing mild fragrance of roses which feels really good while takingΒ a shower. If you are averse to such scents, then be mindful. But, I love the delicate fragrance of roses this particular shower gel has, it’s not very overpowering. As claimed, this product does lather very well but even after the rinse the skin doesn’t feel dry at all. It gives a soft, smoothed outΒ feel to the skin but not to the extent that you don’t need any body butter or body lotion. You definitely need to apply a body lotion but it doesn’t give you that taut, dry feel which some shower gels do. My dry skin loves this. The consistency of the gel is pretty thick and you don’t need a lot, so a bottle is going to last you quite some time. Overall, I really like this shower gel and would highly recommend you to check this one out. It’s totally worth the price.
This looks fancy and smells amazing. I love it ππ

Agree with you Anita Ji.
Wow roses are always my favorite.. Nice review .. Nd a small suggestion tat after reviewing finally tell us the pros nd cons if you have it was very easy for us to recognize about the product… π π
Thanks for the suggestion Sindhu.. I usually summarize in the last paragraph and I write in points.. Honestly, I don’t really like the pros n cons format at the end.. coz then most people just read only the pros and cons without understanding why is it a pro or a con and don’t read the whole blog (sometimes I also do that :P). But, let’s see how I can incorporate your suggestion. π
Excellent review
