Today, I am comparing two beautiful palettes by Zoeva Cosmetics – Zoeva Cocoa Blend vs Caramel Melange, which probably is one of my favourite brand of affordable eyeshadow palettes. I have so many of them. I love that they have a theme going on with their palettes and every time a new palette comes out I can’t wait to get it. Recently, they came out with two new palettes – Caramel Melange and Blanc Fusion. Out of the two, I just fell in love with the Caramel Melange palette at first glance so I decided to get it and add it to my ever growing eyeshadow collection. In this post, I am going to compare the Caramel Melange palette to one of my favourite Zoeva palettes – The Cocoa Blend palette.
Today’s post is going to be a battle of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes – Too Faced Chocolate Bar vs Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar. The original version has pretty much achieved cult status and the second version is also quite popular with some mixed reviews. Nevertheless, I do enjoy both of them and we are going to see how they compare to each other in terms of shades, pigmentation, texture and colour payoff.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams are one of the very popular drugstore liquid lipsticks in the US and are now available in many countries all over. They are very popular because of the quality they offer for a reasonable price and they have a huge shade range. They are somewhat between a lipstick and a lip gloss, basically a liquid lipstick with a semi matte finish. They have a soft mousse like texture when you apply them, but they dry down to a pretty semi matte finish. Currently, they have 34 shades in their line ranging from nude, pretty pinks, brights to some real unique shades. You will be able to see the swatches of 11 of those shades in this post.
Today, I am reviewing and swatching probably the best and the most favourite eyeshadow palette which launched in 2016. This is, of course, is the Anastasia Beverly Hills “Modern Renaissance” palette. This eyeshadow palette changed the whole eyeshadow game and drive every other company to the warmer berry orange-y spectrum of the palette. Many companies came out with eyeshadow palettes with similar colour scheme as this one, but this still remains a favourite with beauty junkies, beauty gurus and YouTubers. I got my hands on these really late in the year, it being out of stock for so long. So, I wasn’t one of them who enjoyed this palette last year, but I am going to do so in 2017.
If you don’t know who Kathleen Lights is, then I don’t know where have you been. Those of you who don’t know, she is a very famous YouTuber with millions of subscribers and she does videos mainly related to makeup. She is a beautiful humble soul and I really love her, one of my favourite Youtubers.
The Too Faced “Love Flush” Blush is one of my favourite blush formulas of all times. It claims to be long wearing blush, 16 hrs to be precise, and it surely delivers. Although, I have never worn it for 12 straight hours, but whenever I need my blush to stay for longer say 4-5 hours, I go for this one or a Tarte Amazonian clay Blush.
Colourpop Ultra Satin Lips are my favourite Colourpop Lipstick formula. I have never really been a fan of their “Ultra Matte” range because of their intense drying formula, they are just too uncomfortable for me. I was very excited to see this range of liquid lipsticks which promised not to be drying at all.
I was so excited when the Tarte Tarteist Pro eyeshadow palette was announced. I have loved the Tartelette in Bloom palette so much, and I thought this would be in the same league, maybe even better. Look at the colours in the palette! Just love the whole colour scheme. But unfortunately it didn’t quite deliver the way I wanted it too. Sad 🙁 Read on to find out more.

Today I am writing about one of my favourite makeup items in the whole world and I am sure many will agree – Lipsticks! These are the Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks which were released last year and there were 100 of them, literally!
